Equine Photography

Former club member Elsa Marchenay is an equine photographer that specialises in capturing the beauty and power of the horses, always combined with a particular light to make her photographs as unique as possible.
From being an enthusiast photographer 15 years ago to joining the CHRSLPC, then opening her own photography business in 2019, Elsa has travelled across 6 continents in order to capture the essence of some of the most beautiful horses in on-of-a-kind locations. She is willing to share with you her photographic as well as some of the greatest experiences she's had as an equine photographer.Achievement :- Winner of the Image of the year in 2016 CHRSLPC- 2nd place in point score B grade 2017 CHRSLPC- Highly commanded Murrurundi Arts and Crafts photography competition both in 2021 and 2022- Merit in the Scone Horse Festival photography competition in 2021In 2022, Elsa had images published in 4 magazines, including 2 articles she wrote about a personal project called "Tribute to the Old Ladies". Those 2 articles were published in 2 specialized international magazines both in the UK and in Australia.
