An engaging exploration of the key aspects of abstract photography using my abstract aerial photographs. Mieke will also delve into other (more affordable) Abstract genres, sharing images and set-ups for oil and water macro photography, abstract smoke photography, milk and food dye macro photography, and ICM – Intentional Camera Movement

Sunday 23rd April 2023 - Gory'u Japanese Gardens


The gardens showcase maple tree variations ( hopefully displaying
autumn colours) and 13 replica gardens of the various gardens on
show from Japan including 6 major elements of a garden that will last
100 years including ponds, mini waterfalls, rockeries, stones, gravels
and hand made bridges and Islands.
PLEASE NOTE: we are unable to walk on the pebbled areas and must
stick to the paths.
Beside the Japanese Garden this is also a Japanese Maple Nursery
with a lot of different varieties to choose from.
We will return to Lithgow for lunch (1pm) at the Blue Fox Bar & Kitchen – 277 Main Street Lithgow.
We will meet outside the Gory’u Japanese Garden at 10am.

Cost: The entry cost into the garden is $16.00 for seniors and $20 for adults.
N.B. Numbers are limited to 20 members attending.
