Eric is going to set up a mock "crime scene" where attendees will be given a talk about how they need to image it, including the key points of shooting a crime scene, and then get participants to try themselves. There will be 15-20 minutes post session discussions where Eric will be available to answer any questions and share his experience in forensic photography.

About Eric Efsco Berry
Eric is a former firefighter, photographer, investigator and lecturer at Western Sydney University's School of Forensic Science. Starting as a volunteer firefighter in the early '90's, he progressed through to the eventual rank of Inspector & Deputy Fire Control Officer with the NSW Rural Fire Service, serving in a variety of Districts and at the Service's State Headquarters.
Eric has trained firefighters and support staff not only around Australia, but in a number of countries throughout South-East Asia, and lectured in places as far afield as Hobart, Hong Kong and Helsinki.
After leaving the Fire Service, Eric moved more into the photography sphere, working as an award winning freelance photographer, and began lecturing in the School of forensic Science at Western Sydney University's Hawkesbury Campus, with his favourite subject being crime scene photography – allowing him to use his fire investigation knowledge and photography knowledge at the same time.
