Underwater, Adventure & Photography presented by Neil Vincent

For most of my life I have been a very active amateur photographer with interests in underwater, expedition, natural history and outdoor action photography. Photography offset my day to day work as a designer engineer.

My interests in the underwater world and photography began in my teenage years. This combination of skills has worked well, allowing me to produce unique and creative images from an environment where so much is still unknown.

I am a qualified, practiced deep technical diver with much knowledge in cave diving, having dived extensively in the caves of the Nullarbor, Mt. Gambier and NSW in Australia and Mexico. Equally interesting for me is to dive in the shallower, non-technical areas, locating interesting marine life and capturing these images for use by the scientific community or artistically showing the animal in all it’s beauty in a natural habitat. I did work in the film industry as a cameraman/photographer for a couple of years and have had my images and articles printed in many magazines, journals and books.

Lately I am finding new interests in photographing larger animals such crocodiles, raptors, sharks and whales and even dabbling with photographing the stars.

My aim in photography is to produce unique and interesting images that may be used to illustrate to the viewer, activities, locations, and creatures that they may not or cannot see for themselves.
