Ilona Abou-Zolof and Christina Brunton

BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL: Phoenix Room at Castle Hill RSL, Tuesday 4th May at 7:30 pm

Instead of processing the "safe shot", the landscape as seen, the object in perspective and the person as they are (minus perhaps a few minor imperfections), a creative photographer will push boundaries and open new creative doorways into imagery that stretches and delights the imagination.

We are very excited to have two such creatives present to our members on Tuesday 4th May, the extraordinary and incomparable Ilona Abou-Zolof and Christina Brunton.

Christina Brunton

Christina is an artist with a background in oil painting who took up photography to capture images as a reference for her paintings. It was only when Christina learnt to do digital artistry where everything fell into place perfectly and she was able to merge her two passions of painting and photography.

Creating art is a way of life that sings to her and she hopes it touches the viewer’s emotional strings, in their heart and soul. Christina’s art has been published regularly in a variety of international magazines and won distinctions in international competitions.

Ilona Abou-Zolof

Ilona is an image-maker and a digital artist. Taking images gives her as much fun as processing them.
Digital tools and digital painting help to convert her photos and composites into digital art.

Learning new ways of making her art different gives her pleasure, she evolves and moves on, so she does not get boring to her viewers or bored with herself. It is amazing what we can produce in the digital age and how much fun it is.
