Did you know? Rookwood Cemetery is a heritage-listed cemetery in Rookwood, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It the largest necropolis in the Southern Hemisphere and is the world's largest remaining operating cemetery from the Victorian era.
 
Many bushrangers are buried here including Jimmy Governor, Captain Moonlight and Jack Bradshaw. other notable Australian’s include: - Peter Dodds McCormick who composed our National Anthem, David Scott Mitchell – founder and benefactor of the Mitchell Library of NSW, and the list goes on.
 
We will meet at 10am at the Village Café, corner of Necropolis Drive & Memorial Ave, Rookwood. We will return here for lunch at 1pm.
 
Take your time photographing and discovering the history of the cemetery.
