Thursday 16th May 2019 - Mens Shed at Dural

Thursday 16th May. Location is off the underground carpark at The Centre, Corner Pettit Lane and Kenthurst Road, Dural NSW 2158.

Meet at 9am for a safety briefing and location tour of the Woodworking section including woodturning, ripsaws, bandsaws, project assembly, Metalwork area including automotive hoist and car restoration, welding, lathes, metal saws, Computer room where items are designed and 3D printed, and Garden where our vegetable patch will probably be on its last legs prior to winter.

Photographers are welcome to spend morning tea with us ( donated by our sponsor Bakers Delight) and see the work and fellowship amongst the 60 odd guys who normally turn up on Thursday . Most Men are working on projects from 9.30am. We down tools at 10.30am for morning tea where we catch up and tell tall stories. Morning tea lasts till 11am for most guys, but some stay at it till lunch.

Photographers will see tradesmen at work, and guys teaching others how to use machinery, as well as general fellowship. If you have ever wondered about what goes on at a Mens Shed, this outing is for you.

Attendees must wear closed in footwear, and long pants.
