Saturday 20th July - Photograph Ukulele players.

20th July. Photograph Ukulele players.

The Parramatta Hills Ukulele Network (PHUN) is a group of around 100 Ukulele enthusiasts who get together and sing songs from the 1960’s accompanied by Ukuleles.

Come and take portraits of them strumming and singing, and sing along to the music. You will need a tripod and portrait lens. A wide angle lens would also be helpful.

Attend at 1.30pm to see a beginner class or intermediate class. The jam session commences at 2.30pm and afternoon tea is taken at 3.30pm, which you are invited to attend.

Venue is the Parramatta Baptist Church, 84-94 Klein’s Road, Northmead.

Cost is a voluntary donation of $5 to PHUN, and a packet of chocolate biscuits for afternoon tea. Note that the donation goes to support the homeless in Parramatta.
